EXPLATION FOR CHART 1

This chart uses total vote percentages, and unweighed gender percentages for each candidate in the two races (Mcain V Clinton, McCain v Obama), sort them by the percentage of black voters in each state, creates trend lines for each variable, and then shifts the data upward or downward while maintaining the same overall proportions
